AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE
Incorporating American Sign Language (ASL) in early childhood supports communication before spoken language fully develops. By learning signs for everyday words and the alphabet, children strengthen early language development, letter recognition, and vocabulary in a meaningful and engaging way.

At BilingualKid, ASL is intentionally integrated into our daily curriculum as a bridge between English and Spanish. This approach supports inclusive communication, enhances language acquisition, and empowers children to express themselves with confidence.

Through songs, routines, and interactive learning experiences, children naturally acquire ASL alongside their spoken languages—often viewing it as both fun and empowering. Most importantly, this practice fosters empathy, inclusion, and respect for diverse ways of communicating, helping us nurture kind and globally minded citizens from an early age.
