NATURE BASED EDUCATION
Our nature-based approach aligns with the Virginia Early Learning and Development Standards (ELDS), supporting children’s growth across all developmental domains through hands-on, meaningful experiences in natural environments.

Each day, children engage in outdoor learning such as nature walks, loose parts exploration, caring for plants and living things, and year-round gardening. These experiences are intentionally designed to support school readiness while also fostering curiosity, independence, and a joyful connection to the natural world.

Through daily interaction with nature, children strengthen fine and gross motor skills, develop problem-solving and inquiry skills, build social-emotional awareness, and begin to understand their role in caring for the environment.
