NATURE BASED EDUCATION

Research shows that there are many benefits to structured and unstructured outdoor activities for children. Although we place emphasis on readiness and preparing for what lies ahead, our goal of education is to prepare us for a life that is joyous, and an active connection with nature plays a big part in that, in today’s gadget-obsessed world, nature education and outdoor preschool activities are done on a daily basis, from loose parts resources, nature walks, caring for pets, insects and bugs, to planting, harvesting and hands on year-round organic gardening that has positive effects on developing fine and gross motor skills, stimulating executive function and developing an emerging environmental ethic.
